Advanced Studies Program
300-hour training
Investing in today means investing in tomorrow and the entire shape of your life and wellbeing. While this training is for teachers of yoga who wish to increase their impact as an instructor of yoga, more importantly, it is for teachers of yoga who desire a deeper practice of their own—of learning how to embody the principles of integral yoga beyond asana. Our hope is that this training will inspire you in how you live and how you teach, so that yoga might create an even greater ripple-effect into your life and being.
Schedule
Full Schedule Forthcoming, but here’s what we have so far:
November 6-10, 2026: Foundations of Ayurveda with Mas Vidal
October 8-10, 2027: Subtle Anatomy with Michelle Cassandra Johnson
Program Overview
-
This course is led by Mas Vidal (Maheshananda) and provides the essential education for students, yoga teachers, medical practitioners, or natural healers looking for a comprehensive introduction to Ayurveda, and for individuals interested promoting longevity and wellness.
-
The path of yoga is brilliantly designed to work with our physical and energy bodies. In this weekend immersion with Michelle Cassandra Johnson, we will explore subtle anatomy to deepen awareness, promote healing, and support individual and collective transformation.
The immersion includes a deep dive into the energy body through an exploration of the kosha system, chakras, vayus, and more. Bridging the ancient wisdom stream of yoga with somatic experience and metaphysical studies, we will learn about the body as an interconnected field of physical, energetic, and spiritual experience. The immersion will include meditation, pranayama, embodied practices, self and collective inquiry, and rest and integrative practices.

This module focuses on advanced-level approaches to smart sequencing, effective cueing, mindful adjustments, finding your authentic voice, and deep knowledge of biomechanics for specialized populations. Integrating these techniques elevates any class from basic asana-focused content to more mastery-level instruction. Led by April Eljeiroudi + Bridget Galli.

This module will rely on the foundation of vinyasa krama to guide instruction for flow practioners in a way that blends the creative art and technical science of creating safe, inspiring, and inclusive vinyasa classes. Content includes progressive sequencing, thoughtful cues, inspiring themes, and holding space. Led by April Eljeiroudi + Lisa Vortman
-
Though both of these limbs of yoga are in every yoga class in some way, more advanced methods of meditation and pranayama can be difficult to integrate into an all-levels yoga class. Additionally, if a teacher doesn’t have their own advanced practice with these two limbs, it can be daunting to teach them to others. This module will look at the deeper mechanics of breath work and meditation on a biological level and include developing a richer practice in pranayama, different styles of meditation, bandhas, the subtle body, and mindfulness. Course also covers how to hold space for students who experience deep releases through these powerful and often therapeutic practices. Led by April Eljeiroudi.
-
This course will span the duration of the entire program, so we will meet on a regular basis to read and discuss sacred texts (including the Bhagavad Gita), as well as read and reflect upon modern discourse (including how to decolonize yoga). As the course title suggests, we will do deep work to move philosophy from the conceptual to the applicable and practical. Led by April Eljeiroudi.

Each participant will receive 12 hours of mentorship by lead instructors and will be responsible for completing a project of their choosing.
