This course is led by Mas Vidal (Maheshananda) and provides the essential education for students, yoga teachers, medical practitioners, or natural healers looking for a comprehensive introduction to Ayurveda, and for individuals interested promoting longevity and wellness.

How Ayurveda is combined with Integral yoga
The Ayurveda Foundation’s course will provide you with a clear and comprehensive understanding of Ayurveda and its practices in modern life and the sacred relationship yoga and Ayurveda share.
Each day begins with mantra, meditation, and pranayama, followed by lectures and practicums throughout the day. Homework is assigned with reading, exercises and soothing self-care practices.
Ayurveda and Yoga together, provide for the ultimate foundation for healing and attaining true inner happiness. Are you considering a career in Ayurveda or Yoga? In-person content: November 6-10, 2026 from 9:00am - 4:30pm (with 30-minute lunch break each day). If you are unable to attend all five days of the in-person content, access to the online material will be provided upon registration for the course and extended for a total of 90 days.
Additional online content will be provided for extended study.
$850 (payment plans are available)
This is a required course for PRANA’s 300-hour Advanced Studies Program.
About Mas Vidal (Maheshananda)
Director and founder of Dancing Shiva School, Ph.D candidate (Integral Ayurveda), and Practitioner of Ayurveda, Mas has become an influential global teacher, speaker, and author of Ayurveda, Yoga culture, and Vedantic philosophy. His diverse background includes therapeutics, athletics, dietetics, ecology, herbs, and Superfoods, which he integrates into a dynamic synthesis that has led him to become an innovative voice in integral Ayurveda, Yoga, and integrative medicine. As an Ayurvedic practitioner, he began his career in 2001 as the medical director of Dancing Shiva's integrative medical clinic that included Panchakarma, acupuncture, chiropractic, and many other modalities based in Los Angeles, California (for 12 years) before embarking on an extensive travel schedule giving lectures and consultations throughout Mexico, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Portugal and all major cities in the USA.
