Yoga on the Ropes

Come hang out! Back by popular demand: join Bridget on the ropes! Working with the ropes wall can be a playful, challenging, fun way to experience your practice in a new way.

The ropes wall originated with Iyengar yoga and can be an invaluable tool for getting into certain poses. The ropes can offer support, stability, and security. They can also help practitioners become more aware of their alignment, help open areas of the body that might be difficult to reach otherwise, and help stretch and strengthen specific areas of the body. We will learn preparations, technique, poses, and positions, while developing strength and confidence on the wall. At least 6 months of consistent yoga practice strongly encouraged.
